The Inspiration Behind Our Business

As Matt was reflecting on his grandfather's life, he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude and admiration for the man who had taught him so much about life, faith, and the importance of taking care of others. His grandfather had been a strong, caring man who devoted his life to his family, his country, and his faith.

Woody had enlisted in the military during World War II at a young age, bravely serving his country. When he returned home, he married his sweetheart, Loretta, and together they built a life filled with love and hard work. Woody started a custom furniture business and worked for the typographical union for over 30 years. Despite his efforts, the union's pension plan ultimately failed, leaving Woody and Loretta in a challenging financial situation. Woody took a job driving for Hertz, working tirelessly until the day he passed away at the age of 70.

Loretta was heartbroken and struggled to make ends meet without Woody's income. Matt watched as his grandmother's health declined, and it pained him to see her suffering without the proper care she needed. Matt being a new college student, desperately wanted to help, but did not have the means to do so.  His mother tried to help as much a possible, but it wasn't enough. Loretta was forced to sell her house and eventually move to a Medicaid facility.

This experience profoundly impacted Matt, inspiring him to pursue a career as a wealth manager. He recognized that if his grandfather had met someone like him during his life, Woody might have made different financial choices, ensuring that Loretta would be taken care of after his passing. Matt knew that many others faced similar challenges, and he felt called to use his faith and financial expertise to make a difference in their lives.

He combines his deep understanding of financial planning with his unwavering Christian values to provide compassionate, comprehensive guidance.
